Paul Barrera was born and raised in Brooklyn and Queens in New York City. While living it out in New York, Paul produced, edited and directed for cable television, commercials, and films. He directed two shorts, My Name Is Carlos and Mariposa. Both of which have been screened nationally and internationally at film festivals and television.

In 2004 he packed his toothbrush and headed for Sunny California. Since living in Los Angeles he has worked in filmmaking at different capacities, as a gaffer, a cameraman, a production assistant, and now as a dedicated editor. It is editing which has captured the imagination of this versatile filmmaker. He loves working with Filmmakers and helping them complete their projects on his Final Cut Pro System.

After editing projects, for Cinematographers, and Filmmakers he has built a resume of projects that he proudly displays on his website. He edits Commercials, Reels, PSA's, Documentaries and Films. And he can't wait to work on yours next.
